This year, the “Lemon Gym” network will expand by as many as five new fitness clubs. Alongside them, the latest training trends are also being introduced. The biggest innovation of this autumn is HYROX, known as the fitness marathon. “Lemon Gym” network director Greta Radzevičienė hopes that this globally popular competition format will attract strong interest in Lithuania as well.

More locations mean closer access for those who want to exercise

Three new “Lemon Gym” clubs in Vilnius (on Žalgirio Street, in Akropolis, and in the Pikas shopping center space), one in Kaunas (on Raudondvario Road, an area that previously had no fitness clubs), and the first “Lemon Gym” club in Šiauliai – this is an energetic expansion driven by the main mission of “Lemon Gym”: to make a healthy and active lifestyle accessible to everyone, regardless of where they live. G. Radzevičienė adds:

“Expansion is our response to the growing demand for an active lifestyle. The closer a fitness club is to a person, the easier it is for them to start moving. We believe that by inspiring people to take care of their bodies and well-being, we are creating a healthier society”.

All of the new fitness clubs opening their doors are designed according to a new concept, where attention is given not only to training but also to overall well-being, and the Recovery zone is treated as an equal space alongside workout and training areas.

The highlights of the new five-club expansion are the “Lemon Gym” clubs in Vilnius AKROPOLIS and Kaunas RAUDONDVARIS, where a dedicated HYROX training area has been installed.

“Last year’s HYROX championship in Riga showed that this fitness marathon will become a true hit in gyms. We are introducing dedicated HYROX training zones in Vilnius AKROPOLIS, Kaunas RAUDONDVARIS, and also in Latvia at Riga AKROPOLIS, with the hope that this will encourage as many people as possible to try both the new group training format and the competition itself. I truly hope that next year’s competitions will feature twice as many Lithuanian participants,” says G. Radzevičienė, expressing confidence in the success of the training network’s newest addition.

The AKROPOLIS club will also feature a full-concept Recovery zone with regenerative red light therapy, lymphatic drainage “Roll Shaper” massage devices, and a hydromassage bed. In addition, it will host the first digital body analysis device in the entire network, measuring not only body weight, fat mass, and muscle mass, but also range of motion.

G. Radzevičienė emphasizes that for her, qualitative growth of the network is just as important as quantitative expansion:

“Accessibility, high-quality services, and innovation are our holy trinity. Our priority is to provide more value for a fair price. Quality includes many components – professional trainers who continuously update their knowledge, a wide and diverse group training schedule, high-quality equipment, and a welcoming environment. It is no coincidence that in ‘Lemon Gym’ clubs we have different spaces for different client needs. In several clubs there are two training halls – one for Body & Mind-type workouts and another for more intensive training – and the special Booty zone has also proven very successful. All of this creates a comfortable overall club atmosphere, where everyone can find their own space and training style. It seems we will continue developing the idea of different spaces within one club”.

A new fitness club concept – it’s not just about training

“Lemon Gym” was the first to offer recovery and relaxation services alongside training. G. Radzevičienė identifies this as one of the network’s key differentiators:

“We realized that our members want more than just workouts. People are looking for a place where they can regain energy, take a break, and dedicate time to themselves, so we integrated Recovery zone benefit packages into our membership plans. These are spaces where people can both get stronger and rest, and try effective tools such as red light therapy. These are services that not so long ago were only available in SPA centers”.

These services are changing the concept of a fitness club – from now on, it is not just a place to train, but also a place for full recovery and relaxation. “The integration of additional services is not random. We continuously observe the growing interest in longevity ideas and the latest research and products connected to it. We follow innovations, look for ways to expand our offering, and continue working purposefully so that every ‘Lemon Gym’ club becomes a place people want to return to – to move, recover, and recharge,” says the head of the ‘Lemon Gym’ network, hinting at future innovations.

Positioning itself as both a sports and recovery club, “Lemon Gym” also highlights another highly relevant opportunity – preparation for amateur and professional competitions. A professional team of trainers, well-versed in general physical preparation, as well as personal coaches specializing in specific sports, already help many clients prepare for marathon running, triathlon, rowing, bodybuilding, and other competitions. From now on, HYROX preparation will also be part of the offering. G. Radzevičienė encourages making full use of this coaching expertise for overall development.

Setting trends – being the first to introduce the latest innovations

“Our strength is our ability to quickly respond to the needs of active people and adapt global formats to the local market,” says G. Radzevičienė, adding that this is what helps maintain a leading position in innovation implementation in Lithuania.

“Group training is the heart of our clubs. We offer only the most popular and newest programs that motivate, engage, and build community. Having noticed the growing interest in Body & Mind-type workouts, we added the Pilates ARC program to our group training schedule – especially relevant for those with sedentary jobs, experiencing back tension, recovering from injuries, or simply wanting a stronger core. Soon, we will also open new specialized HYROX areas in the LEMON GYM clubs in Vilnius AKROPOLIS and RAUDONDVARIS,” shares the head of LEMON GYM about group training innovations.

She admits that she sees HYROX integration into the club network not only as a way to expand group training offerings, but also as a means to unite an active sports community across the Baltic region:

“This is one of the fastest-growing fitness disciplines. Many HYROX fans hope it will eventually become an Olympic sport. By opening dedicated zones in Vilnius, Kaunas, and Riga, we hope to grow the HYROX community and at the same time create the best places to prepare for competitions.”

The first competition will already take place during the opening of the new LEMON GYM AKROPOLIS club on October 28. From 17:00 to 20:00, the functional HYROX zone will host intense endurance and strength competitions in separate male and female groups.

Spaces are limited, so G. Radzevičienė encourages everyone not to miss the opportunity to try this rapidly growing global format for free and compete for trophies, LEMON GYM prizes, Nike gift cards, and My Protein rewards.
